Lava Stone – The Stone of Grounding & Transformation

Affirmation: I am grounded, resilient, and ready to transform.

Lava Stone, formed from cooled volcanic lava, is traditionally regarded as a stone of grounding, strength, courage, and transformation. Its earthy, porous texture reflects the powerful energy of the earth and the cycles of creation and renewal.

In crystal traditions, Lava Stone is believed to encourage stability, resilience, and emotional strength. It is often chosen during times of change, helping symbolically anchor us while we release old patterns and make space for something new.

Associated with the Root Chakra, Lava Stone represents connection to the earth, inner strength, and staying centred through life’s transitions. Its raw, elemental quality makes it a wonderful reminder to remain grounded while embracing change.

Lava Stone is especially beautiful as a bracelet or diffuser stone, as its natural pores can hold a few drops of essential oil, allowing the fragrance to be carried throughout the day.
