Citrine can be kept in you home or work space. It is beneficial when used as a totem to set intentions or by your laptop or journal as you work.

It is wonderful to start your morning holding a citrine an setting an intention for the day.

Keeping your crystals clear and charged is the best way to bring out their healing powers. Citrine can be cleansed by running it  through water as it has a hardness of 7 on the MOHS hardness scale or by passing it through the smoke of Palo Santo, Sage or any incense stick.

It can also be left in the moonlight to soak in the energy of the moon. 

The stone can also cleansed by playing a singing bowl in its presence or be placed on a selenite plate.

Incase you are travelling with it, take care to store it in a soft case or Ahimsa silk cloth away from hard objects as it can be easily scratched.
