Amazonite can be kept It can be kept in your living space or simply hold it when you meditate.

Keeping your crystals clear and charged is the best way to bring out their healing powers. Blue Amazonite can be cleansed by running it  through water as it has a hardness of 6 - 6.5 on the MOHS hardness scale or by passing it through the smoke of Palo Santo, Sage or any incense stick.

It can also be left in the moonlight to soak in the energy of the moon. 

The stone can also cleansed by playing a singing bowl in its presence or be placed on a selenite plate.

Incase you are travelling with it, take care to store it in a soft case or Ahimsa silk cloth away from hard objects as it can be easily scratched.

Amazonite  is sourced from USA, Brazil, Russia, Madagascar, China, Ethiopia, and  South Africa with significant deposits also found in India, Canada, and Australia.
